Book Character Parade

Au pair

The day has finally come!

Today is the Book Character Parade, children can become characters from their favorite book.

That’s right, starting from the morning (when they go to school) lol

I thought they dressed up at school but actually, they were allowed them to dressed up from home.

When I dropped Boy and Sister to their school, other children also came with their costume and the school looked lively from morning.

The parade starts at 9:30. I backed home and waited the start while cleaning up rooms.

“Now, the book character parade starts!!”

children dressed up as various characters are lined up accompanied by their teachers who are also dressed up in costumes.

I could find Boy very easy because his banana costume was unique (very conspicuous) here where most of children was wearing dresses, robes, and other clothes.

The Book Character Parade at this school is not a parade through the streets as a group.

There are a slope and stairs in the stage. Each classes walks the slope and students are introduced their costume by their class teacher, after that they strike a pose and go down the central stairs.

Before starting the Parade.

Sister dressed up as midwife with her friends.

And although embarrassed, the boy boldly struck a muscular men pose.

No matter how impressive a child is, I always have my eyes on my own children (Sister and Boy).

I wondered to myself, “Is this a feeling I can feel when I became a parent?”

The Book Character Parade, which was a big success as everyone was seen in costume, came to an end in the blink of an eye.

Some children looked relieved that their performance was over, some were chatting happily with their friends, some were exchanging happy glances with their parents…

All the children returned to their classroom with wonderful expressions that showed they had accomplished it.

When I picked the children up,

Banana Boy came back as the Banana Boy.

Come to think of it, he didn’t bring a change of clothes.

According to them, they spend all day wearing costume in this day. Of course, they also attend classes wearing it.

What a fun day!

In this way, I could meet the costume preparations which I was worried about at first. And the enjoyable day came to an end.

The series of Book Parade, that’s all!

PS.

He dressed up as a banana so I put a whole banana in his lunch box as a special treat even though I usually put only half.

As a result, the banana came back untouched and in perfect condition.

… EAT!! lol
