Banana Boy

Au pair

Go back to the beginning of Japanese week.

My next mission secretly had begun by a message from my host mother, who was on a business trip overseas.

The kids have a book character parade on the school on next week, where they dress up like their favorite characters from a book.

Are you happy to help them and find some things to dress up in?

BOOK CHARACTER PARADE

I searched about it and I learned that Australia has a week in late August called “Book week”.

In primary school, they hold a book character parade, allowing students to enjoy the event and feel closer to books.

I told the kids about the parade and ask to think what they want to be.

I asked it on the next day but they hadn’t decided yet.

Sister said that she would decide with her friends.

I worried about Boy.

He couldn’t decide even after a few days. I took him a store and looks at clothes but he still couldn’t decide.

I was so troubled, so I finally consulted Host mother and asked her to talk to Boy about the costume over the phone.

The result was…

He said he wants to dress up like a carrot or banana🤣

Carrot or banana…??

The 4th grade boy seems to want to be a carrot or banana.

In the night, I and Boy drew pictures together before he sleeps and I asked him to draw a picture which he wants to dress up in the book parade.

The banana picture was actually drawn by Boy.

Bana~na, bana~na, strong bana~na♪

He went to bed in a good mood and with a smile on his face.

He seems to become a banana lol

However, how does he become a banana? And how about a book?!

The story of book parade, beginning!!
