I had some help that I felt was lovely. During the days Nana supported me with housework, troubleshooting and so on.
It’s hug for good night.
One night, after dinner, it was about 8:30. It was when I called bed time to the kids like usual.
Nana called Sister and she opened her arms before Sister went to her room.
And then, Sister came to Nana’s bosom and they hugged each other gently.
Then,
Good night, Sister.
They continue to hug for about 5 seconds quietly.
After that, Sister went to her room.
It was a surprise for me because it happened suddenly and I was Japanese and hardly have opportunities to hug. However, I felt the time was very warm, peaceful and beautiful time.
In my opinion, of course, we can express our love and feeling through words, but in addition to this, having body contact is more effective.
What also I felt attractive was that they hugged each other and didn’t talk for a while, spending a quiet moment together.
I believe that this quiet time makes kids be relieved and brings them closer together.
Of course, they also enjoy hugs with their parents.
No matter what happened, they connect with each other by hugging before going to bed.
Both kids and parents share their love and finish the day in warm mind.
I love you.
Good night.

◎ “Nana” means “Grandmother”?!
Hi, How’s it going?
When you want to say 「おばあちゃん(Obaatyann)」(the mother of a parent’s father or mother) in English, you may think “Grandmother” or “Grandma” the first in your brain.
However, actually, “Nana” also means “Grandmother”.
“Nana” is casual saying like “Dad” and “Mum” and it seems to be one of British English.
Hotaru didn’t know the meaning of “Nana” at first, she seemed to think that my name was Nana.
If you thought that too,
Unfortunately, that’s wrong!!
