Lining with a dog

My host family has four members.

However, we shouldn’t forget, they have one more family.

He is Buddy.

He is a boy border collie.

He was 3 months old as I came here. (Although, he was already big. )

When I met him, I was scared of dogs.

Because, I just got chased by a dog two weeks ago.

It happened on a quiet early morning.

At that time, when I was living in a share house in Brisbane, my favorite thing to do was wake up early in the morning and jog around the house.

When I passed through a park and entered a residential area, a medium-sized dog came in front of me.

In Australia, many owners take their dogs for walks without putting them on a lead.

That’s why, first, I thought the owner was near the dog.

However, the dog’s behavior is clearly different.

The dog was wary of me and started barking with all its might!

Of course, I had no intention of touch him from the beginning, so I left immediately.

However,

No matter how far I got away, the dog got chased me and barking with all its might.

I thought that if the dog arrived to me, it would bite me.

It’s terrible.

I want to escape.

But, no matter how far I got away, the dog come.

I want to ask for help.

But, there were no people around here since it was early in the morning.

This is seriously terrible…!

I got cold sweat on my back.

After about 10 minutes of being chased, it finally stopped chasing me after about 100 meters.

Since then, I never went there until the last day I moved to Sydney.

Buddy was a different breed than the dog at the time, but they were similar size.

Therefore, I was worried about what I would feel, but…

He is soooo cute!!

He looks like an adult dog, but he is still a puppy.

He is very naughty, baby, and lonely.

His cuteness and friendliness instantly dispelled my fear of dogs.

Actually, I hadn’t had dogs by far, this time was my first living with a dog.

I made my dog debut at an overseas homestay.
