It has passed for one month from when I came to Blue Mountains.
A lot of kind of birds are living in this area as I wrote at E.P.2.
Among them, there is one bird who is loved as an idol.

It is cockatoo.
It is a type of parrot and one of a famous endemic species in Australia.
It has a distinctive white body and yellow crest.
When I saw it, I was very glad because I had never been able to see it in Brisben I was in before this area.
you may think that we can see it only in bush however, it commonly flies around in the town.
They are often found gathered on telephone poles or roads like pigeons but sometimes, there is a cockatoo which perches on the signboard in front of the shop as a staff bird. (It must be fed from the shop staff.)
Their eyes and the way they walk are so cute and it make us be soothing.
On the other hand, their cries are quite harsh, contrary to their appearance.
They are a type of idle which they attract us by the gap of appearance and cries.
We can see them commonly here but we never see them in the Sydney, two-hour train ride away.
I’m sure it’s because the natural environment of the Blue Mountains is so large and rich that they come into the town.
By the way, there are several species of cockatoos, and there is also a species called the black cockatoo, which has a black body.
They are rare birds. There are no into the town and it is lucky if you see in the bush and mountain.
During the half year I stayed there, I could see only second time, one was I saw it which is flying in the sky from a home window and other one was when I went to hiking it was flying far away.
When I saw it from the home window, Mother tell me.
Mother:
That is a black cockatoo.
Cockatoos usually sing noisy, but they sing beautiful voice.
Its looks handsome and its cries is also handsome. this is the black cockatoo.
Blue Mountains residents are living with variety of birds, including cockatoos.
